Packing for the Parks

Did we get everything? I feel like that was the standard question when packing all 3 kids for the parks. Such a blessing that we were able to go as often but my brain was completely fried by the time we had to pack for the parks. Sometimes you just need to take some time to sit down and create that list. After a few years with the little ones, I actually created the list and its on my phone...genius right?!?

Here is my "Day of Disney" pack list:

1. Stroller----duh but you would be surprised when you arrive in the parking lot of Magic Kingdom and wonder how and why you forgot the stroller. Please note we have 2 single, umbrella strollers available for your us.

2. Stroller rain cover...its a pain but bring it. Us Floridians always say anything above 30% chance of rain...its going to rain! Usually in the afternoon hours but you don't want the little ones getting soaked or your stuff.

3. Stroller bags. I bought these awesome mesh bags that hang on the stroller. You don't need to remove them when going through bag check at the parks. On one side of the stroller, I have a saddle bag that holds all the snacks for the kids. Easy for them to access. The other saddle bag holds the kids sunglasses, light up toys, wipes. Finally, the large bag hangs from the rear of the stroller holds everything else large. I bought a 2 pack for $15 on amazon. Just search "mesh side saddle bag for stroller" and "J.L. Childress Cups 'N Cargo, Universal Fit Stroller Organizer"

4. Mommy hooks...need 3 of them!

5. Magic bands. Note: bring extra for the little ones.

6. Ears and hats

7. Sunglasses for everyone plus extra.

8. Cool towels…depending on the season.

9. Change of undies for the little ones (or your husband) and shorts. I usually place these in a plastic Zipblock bag and just leave it in the large mesh bag.

10. Deodorant: my husband likes to bring extra deodorant to freshen up last afternoon

11. Sunscreen in a Zipblock

12. Bandaids- there is a First Aid at all parks in case more serious then a blister.

13. Kids water bottles. Just helps so you know how much they are drinking and they can easy grab “their” water. I am terrible at drinking water so I have actually been bringing one for myself. It also keeps me on top of my intake.

14. Ponchos – again check the weather. If its 30% or less I usually leave them at home.

15. Flipflops – if you bring the ponchos bring the flip flops. The parks usually flood quickly and nothing is worst then soggy shoes!

16. Fans for the stroller.

17. Snacks & gum

18. Soft cooler with lunchables, uncrustables and drinks. We usually freeze water bottles and pack them in a plastic bag. Use a few of those bottles as an ice pack for the cooler and place the remaining ones under the stroller.

19. Baby wipes – I always have a pack baby wipes regardless of everyone's age. Its amazing how fast your Mickey ice cream bar can completely disintegrate.

20. Jammies for little ones. We love to shut down the parks so as the little ones would get tired I would run them over to the baby center and do a final change into jammies before they passed out.

21. Sweatshirts…depending on the season. Epcot can get chilly especially if you are on the lake

22. Hand sanitizer

23. Light up toys

24. Glow bracelets are sometimes fun!

25. Mask and extra ones!
